Andrew commits his practice to providing client-focused, need-based approaches to complex legal issues. Prior to launching the Law Office of Andrew Vento Gabriel, Andrew assisted with a number of Employment and Real Estate/Real Property matters all across the state of California. In Andrews Employment Law practice, he advised both employees and employers of their rights when faced with cases of discrimination, wage and hour violations, retaliation, and wrongful termination. Andrew will thoroughly explain best practices when dealing with Californias ever-changing labor and employment laws. Andrew worked for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission as well as a law firm dedicated to wage and hour class actions. In his Real Estate/Property practice, Andrew offers tenacious advocacy to his clients. In Landlord/Tenant issues, Andrew understands both local and state wide regulations pertaining to tenancies. Andrew has experience in rent control ordinances in the following cities: Richmond, CA; Berkeley, CA; San Francisco, CA; and Oakland, CA. Additionally, in Neighbor and Boundary disputes, Andrew listens to the clients goals while keeping in mind the ongoing relationship between property owners. In Real Estate Transactions, Andrew tenaciously advocates on behalf of the client to reach a favorable outcome. Finally, Andrew is well-versed in Product Liability claims as it relates to automobile owners rights when dealing with faulty and/or dangerous products defects. Outside of the legal practice, Andrew is committed to community involvement. He was appointed to the Finance Commission for the City of Hercules, City Council to provide sound oversight over the Citys budget and finances. Previously, he was an elected official for the Rodeo-Hercules Fire Protection District Board of Directors, ensuring that emergency services are maintained for the Rodeo-Hercules area. Prior to joining the RHFPD Board of Directors, the City of Hercules City Council appointed Andrew to the Community and Library Services Commission. Mr. Gabriel is also active in the Filipino Bar Association of Northern California.
