Stephanie Burton

Stephanie Burton has a strong criminal justice background having earned a B.A. and a M.S. in Criminal Justice. Additionally, she earned a B.A. in Political Science. Prior to attending law school, Stephanie was a Probation and Parole Officer for the State of Missouri where she managed over 60 clients in a residential living facility. While in law school, Stephanie had the privilege of working with the Midwestern Innocence Project. Stephanie's passion is representing individuals from traditionally underrepresented communities. Regardless of socioeconomic status, Stephanie believes everyone should have access to first-class representation in the court room. Stephanie Burton is a criminal defense trial attorney with the drive to make sure each case receives the best possible outcome. Stephanie and her family have lived in the metro area for the past nine years. She made Kansas City her home while attending college at the University of Missouri- Kansas City.
