Clint L. Taylor is an experienced AV rated litigation attorney who represents clients in a broad array of complex commercial litigation matters and professional liability lawsuits, including: Lawsuits arising out of transactions involving the sale or acquisition of businesses, real estate and other assets Defending claims against officers and directors by shareholders and other claimants Representing attorneys, accountants, financial advisors, enrolled agents, and insurance agents in professional malpractice lawsuits, fee disputes and grievance proceedings Defending taxpayers and tax preparers against claims by the IRS and DOJ in matters involving income tax, payroll tax, preparer penalties and other tax issues. Areas of Practice Commercial Litigation Professional Liability Defense Tax Controversy & Litigation Representative Matters Successfully represented a CPA and tax preparer in an action brought in federal court by the Department of Justice arising out of an extremely complex tax avoidance plan, which led to initially obtaining a partial summary judgment disposing of the governments fraud claims, then prevailing at trial on all remaining claims. Obtained a state court jury verdict for a law firm in a suit to recover unpaid fees while obtaining summary judgment on all of the defendants legal malpractice counterclaims. Obtained a judgment in federal court for plaintiff business owner asserting claims arising out of a corporate merger. Obtained complete summary judgment on claims against law firm arising out of an underlying patent dispute. Obtained complete dismissal of claims against an insurance broker arising out of the procurement of life insurance policies.
