About
I believe successful law practice requires both curiosity and creativity. Being curious about the facts and the law, and applying them creatively, are the central traits I bring to my legal work. - Daniel McArdle Booker Mac is an attorney in Obermayers Litigation Department, where he represents a diverse range of clients including financial institutions, healthcare providers, nonprofits, real estate developers, investors, and individuals. He handles cases involving commercial litigation, construction disputes, insurance matters, and professional liability. While Mac is prepared to navigate legal disputes in court, he holds the belief that the best solutions often extend beyond traditional legal proceedings. He approaches each case with a holistic perspective, striving to help clients achieve their objectives with minimal cost and stress. Before law school, Mac pursued a variety of interests. He wrote for a college newspaper, hosted a radio show, and engaged in creative writing across fiction, poetry, and long-form nonfiction. Additionally, he worked in politics, managing campaigns and fundraising for candidates. Through these experiences, Mac discovered his talent for helping people achieve their goals by sharing their stories. Despite initially avoiding a legal career, Mac comes from a long line of Pittsburgh lawyers spanning back to the early 20th century. Eventually, he realized that practicing law provided the most effective avenue for him to assist others through storytelling. Beyond his legal practice, Mac finds joy in cycling and recently discovered a passion for pickleball. As a dedicated father of three, he devotes much of his free time to his family. Mac also loves history, especially the medieval period and the history of Pittsburgh.
