In this role, Jesse led teams in developing and executing strategic initiatives, creating collaborative solutions, and managing people and processes. Jesses in-depth knowledge of the inner workings of a large Native American tribe that operates business ventures, healthcare facilities, housing projects and citizen services translates to experience in assisting tribal, business, and individual clients in a wide range of legal matters. Jesse earned his law degree from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 2013 and his bachelors degree from East Central University in 2009. Jesse lives in Bixby with his family. Jesse is an avid cyclist, enjoys learning the art of flyfishing, actively serves his community and attends First Baptist Church Jenks. Representative Experience Oversaw the acquisition of the largest land purchase in modern history for the Muscogee (Creek) Nation. The 5,600 acre ranch is now named the Looped Square Ranch in Okmulgee County. Assisted in the amendment of the Act of August 4, 1947 (commonly known as the Stigler Act) to preserve the inheritance and ownership of restricted lands throughout the reservations of the Five Tribes. Successfully drafted and negotiated natural resource, real estate and other business agreements for tribal nations. Advised tribal nations regarding sovereignty issues, including but not limited to developments in the area of property matters, oil and gas, construction matters, and taxation.
