She focuses her practice on the defense of medical and dental malpractice matters. Throughout her career, Kristin has represented the interests of physicians, hospitals, nurses, home health agencies and other healthcare providers in professional liability litigation, licensure matters and staff privileges disputes in Western and Central Pennsylvania. Kristins experience extends to a variety of general insurance defense matters, including product and premises liability, defamation, and cases in which fraud is suspected by the defending carrier. She has also represented professionals during the investigatory and prosecutorial phases of matters before the Pennsylvania Bureau of Professional & Occupational Affairs. As a member of the Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County, Kristin is among a select group of attorneys who have been recognized for exemplary acumen in their respective fields of litigation. Kristin has consulted for and lectured to dental and medical specialists regarding informed consent and risk management issues. She has also participated in educational seminars for paralegals focused on trial preparation and expert witness selections.
