A large portion of Mr. Newmans practice is devoted to defending cases that involve catastrophic injury. PA Turnpike Commission, that reached the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. The Court affirmed summary judgment for the owner and, for the first time, outlined the duties a construction manager owes to employees of contractors on a construction site. Serving as defense co-counsel in the groundbreaking case of Duchess v. Langston, wherein, for the first time, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court addressed the admissibility of subsequent remedial measures/design changes in product liability cases.
