Cathryn Armistead

Cathryn Armistead is a native of Great Britain, where she completed her undergraduate degree at the University of East Anglia. She immigrated to the United States and is a dual citizen. She is married to Mo, a Mt. Juliet firefighter, and lives in Lebanon with a bunch of kids and pets. Cathryns practice is dedicated primarily to the areas of probate (estates and conservatorship), probate litigation (will contests, breach of fiduciary duty, contested appointments, recouping stolen funds), and estate planning (wills and powers of attorney). She practices regularly in Davidson, Wilson, and Rutherford counties and has argued at the Tennessee Court of Appeals as well as argued at the appellate level at the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals in Cincinnati, Ohio. Cathryn is often appointed by the Court to serve as the fiduciary for individuals in the community, and also practices family law and partition suits. Cathryn is a member of the Conservatorship Association of Tennessee, the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys (Tennessee), the Tennessee Bar Association, and the Wilson County Bar. Cathryn has provided legal education to other attorneys who practice in this area.
