About Me. I have been an attorney since 2001. I began in private practice in Nashville before joining the District Attorneys office in Sumner County. For almost 17 years I served the citizens of Sumner County as an Assistant District Attorney. When I left the DAs office in 2019 I returned to private practice to make a difference in the lives of the defendants I once prosecuted. For me, being a criminal defense attorney is more than just holding the State to their burden of proving a defendant guilty of a crime beyond a reasonable doubt. I always do my best to preserve the rights of my client and work toward the most positive outcome based on the facts of each individual case. With my years of experience as a prosecutor I bring a unique perspective for my clients to see the possible outcomes of their case and assist them in making a fully informed decision on how they would like to resolve their case.
