ABOUT Thomas G. Nance Tom Nance is a civil litigation attorney with nearly 20 years of experience in insurance defense. He is licensed in NC and practices in the areas of insurance defense and general civil litigation. Originally from Greensboro, Tom obtained his law degree from Wake Forest University and his undergraduate degree from East Carolina University. He is an experienced trial and appellate attorney. Tom has an extensive background litigating cases in a wide range of practice areas, including auto, motorcycle and commercial trucking accidents, premises liability, products liability and insurance coverage disputes. He has tried numerous cases to verdict in North Carolina District and Superior Courts, as well as the United States District Court. He has also handled multiple appellate matters and argued before the North Carolina Court of Appeals. As an approved instructor, Tom routinely conducts continuing education seminars on a number of topics, including motor vehicle law, insurance coverage, bad faith claims, and trial tactics.
