James P. Cooney

Jim Cooney is a Partner with the firm and he is Managing Attorney of the firms Centralized Closing Office. Jim has been instrumental in building and managing the firms closing practice. Jim focuses his practice on REO closings and conventional residential closings. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Georgia Real Estate Closing Attorneys Association. Jim graduated from Asbury College with a B. A. degree and received his J. D. from Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University. While at Mercer, Jim was awarded the BNA Law Student Award. Outside of work, Jim enjoys spending time reading and playing baseball with his four sons.
