During his five years on active duty as a U.S. Navy JAG Officer, Don served at the Pentagon, was published in the Naval Law Review, and received the Navy Achievement Medal, the Navy Commendation Medal, and the National Defense Service Medal. Following his service in the Navy, Don worked at several prestigious law firms before founding Brown & Associates, PLLC. In 2015, Don published "Call Sign Extortion 17: The Shoot-Down of SEAL Team Six," a nonfiction military exposé investigating the military cover-up of the shoot-down by Taliban forces of a U.S. military helicopter on August 6, 2011.
