Ashley Lister Oldham

Ms. Oldham has contributed her deep knowledge of federal laws on military pensions and federal civil service retirements to assist attorneys from various states. She has successfully represented clients in two notable cases before the North Carolina Court of Appeals: Gurganus v. Gurganus, 252 N.C. App. 1 (2017) and Bridges v. Bridges, 2019 N.C. App. LEXIS 778.Hailing from North Carolina, Ms. Oldham embarked on her academic journey at Elon University, where she graduated with honors, securing a B.A. in psychology along with dual minors in business administration and political science. Her pursuit of legal knowledge led her to the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University, where she achieved her Juris Doctorate with distinction, ranking in the top 10% of her class and contributing as an editor for the Campbell Law Review.Ms. Oldham has also shared her insights on military divorce through continuing legal education courses for The Judge Advocate General’s Legal Center, the North Carolina Bar Association and School in Charlottesville, Virginia, and the American Bar Association. Her knowledge has been recognized through publications by LexisNexis, the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and Lawyer’s Mutual.
