Pat Brown

A former military lawyer, former prosecutor and former federal public defender, J. Patten Brown, III, now defends those in Avon, Connecticut, as founder of the Law Offices of Pat Brown. Along with criminal law, he is also experienced in personal injury cases and has experiences in complex cases involving terrorism-related offenses, tax fraud, environmental crimes, sexual assaults, rapes, DUI, white collar crimes, Medicare fraud, credit card fraud, court-martial proceedings and drug offenses.After graduating from law school, Mr. Brown served in the United States Army, where he was a well-decorated JAG officer. During his career, he has represented clients in capital cases, and is admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit and the United States Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit.For several years, he served for the United States District Court for the Western District of Tennessee as a federal public defender, where he tried over 50 cases and represented a long list of clients in other states. Mr. Brown provides services to anyone who is charged with violating the Endangered Species Act and the Lacey Act, and takes cases for anyone going before an appellate proceeding or a criminal trial in the United States Military.
