Dustin R. Marlowe

Dustin Marlowe, one of the founding partners of Johnson Marlowe LLP, is a creative business lawyer and problem solver. Throughout his career, he has handled big-ticket commercial, construction, and employment litigation and served as a trusted advisor to clients throughout Georgia. As part of his litigation practice, Dustin has significant experience representing plaintiffs and defendants in business disputes, including partnership divorces or other business breakups, contract disputes, employment and wage-and-hour litigation, and other complex cases. Dustin is also regularly called upon to handle large commercial construction disputes and real-estate litigation, fiduciary litigation, and other civil disputes. Dustin serves as outsourced general counsel to businesses across the state. In that capacity, he counsels clients on compliance issues and best practices to avoid employment and business disputes. He frequently assists business clients with asset and stock purchases and sales; vendor contracts; commercial leases; employment agreements; operating agreements and other formation documents; and the like. Dustin is a Master in the Joseph Henry Lumpkin Inn of Court. He was named a Rising Star by Superlawyers for 9 consecutive years, was named to the Fulton County Daily Reports 40 under 40 in 2013, and is a member of the Western Circuit Bar Association. Dustin graduated magna cum laude from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2006. During law school, Dustin served as the Senior Notes Editor of the Georgia Law Review, authored a note that the Law Review published, and was inducted into the Order of the Coif. Before law school, Dustin attended and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Georgia, where he was elected a member of Phi Beta Kappa. After law school, Dustin started his career as a law clerk to the late Honorable William C. OKelley, who was then a Senior United District Court Judge for the Northern District of Georgia. Dustin lives in Jefferson, Georgia, with his wife, Amber, and two daughters, Ruby and Magnolia.
