Margaret Patricia Stansell

Margarets early experience in the legal profession has included an internship for a state judge and work in both private practice with a civil litigation firm and in the Jackson County Prosecutors office. Margaret has spent numerous hours in the courtroom, giving her an excellent understanding of trial practice in civil litigation. Margaret assists legal teams at Langdon & Emison, where her diverse practice focuses on a variety of areas such as product liability, truck accident litigation, and the firms full array of personal injury litigation. She is active in the Kansas City community and is a proud alum of the University of Missouri - Kansas City for both law school and her undergraduate degree. She also interned for U. S. Congresswoman Sharice Davids, and Senator Claire McCaskill. As a young trial lawyer Margaret has already obtained several young trial lawyer awards, and earned a full tuition scholarship at UMKC School of Law. She has gained extensive experience handling all aspects of civil litigation including preparing and implementing factual development strategies, written discovery and taking and defending depositions. She has also argued before the Missouri Court of Appeals, Western District.
