Ed F. Kasputis

Ed Kasputis was admitted to the Ohio bar in 1988 and started his legal career as an associate with Frutig, Travis & Polito Co. LPA focusing on insurance subrogation. In 1990, Ed was elected to the Ohio House of Representatives, representing the cities of Bay Village, Rocky River, Westlake, North Olmsted and Olmsted Township. Re-elected to three (3) additional terms, Ed served as the chairman of the House Judiciary and Criminal Justice Committee and the Civil and Commercial Law Committee. Since leaving the Ohio General Assembly in 1998, Ed has focused his practice in the area of Landlord-Tenant Law, Business Law, Foreclosure Defense and Credit Card Litigation Defense. An avid baseball fan, Ed started Baseball PhD in 2010, helping fellow baseball lovers get their “PhD in life – through baseball.” Baseball PhD produces weekly podcasts about travel and Major League Baseball.
