Chris Willis

Chris Willis represents local counties and other organizations in general litigation matters, including insurance defense, employment and tax law issues. He frequently advises governmental entities in Georgia when their employees are accused of discrimination on the basis of gender, race, age and other factors. Chris is a licensed mediator and always looks to solve his clients problems as practically and efficiently as possible. With outstanding research and writing skills, he brings a strong love of learning to his practice. Delving deep into topics, Chris finds advantageous paths for clients and crafts compelling and persuasive narratives to support their cases. Clients also appreciate his calming presence and excellent listening abilities. Prior to joining the firm, Chris gained valuable experience in a wide variety of legal arenas. He served as a judicial law clerk in the South Georgia Judicial Circuit for three superior court judges and also joined a team of 12 law clerks with the North Carolina Judicial Fellowship to provide legal support for the judges of the district and superior court. He was eventually promoted to supervise this office and served as the senior judicial fellow responsible for managing the legal research and writing requests of 384 trial court judges. Chris also spent a year as a staff attorney with Crisis Line & Safe House of Central Georgia. In addition to working as a contract attorney on hundreds of residential real estate closings, he previously served as an attorney advisor to the Small Business Administration. After Hours Chris and his wife enjoy their two Brittany Spaniels, playing tennis and attending live music events. He is also a car enthusiast.
