Derek David Toone

Derek Toone is an associate at Beard St. Clair Gaffney PA, and a member of the firms transactional team. Derek grew up in Idaho Falls. He attended Brigham Young University - Idaho and earned his bachelors degree in Business management in 2013. He then attended Utah State University earning dual Masters in Human Resources (MHR) and Business Administration (MBA) degrees in 2018. In 2022, Derek completed his Juris Doctor (JD) degree at the Pennsylvania State University Dickinson School of Law. Prior to becoming an attorney, Derek worked at Ball Ventures, Utah State University Human Resources, Salt Lake County District Attorneys office and Goldman Sachs. In his free time, Derek enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with his wife and children.
