George R. Moraitis, Jr. George Moraitis, Jr. graduated from the University of Florida College of Law in 2002 Summa Cum Laude and practices in the areas of real estate, probate and estate planning. Upon graduating from the United States Naval Academy with distinction, he served seven years of active duty as a United States Navy submarine officer and retired as a Lieutenant Commander in the Reserve in 2012. While on active duty, he was awarded the Navy Commendation Medal, Navy Achievement Medal and Navy Arctic Service Ribbon. Representative Moraitis was elected to the state legislature in 2010 and represented Florida House District 93 (Northeast Broward County) until 2018.
