Melody C. Kiella

Melody C. Kiella obtained her Juris Doctorate degree from Michigan State University College of Law in 2010, graduating 13th/313 law students. From October 2010 through March 2024, Melody represented a wide-variety of insurers, insureds, and businesses (including national and local motor carriers, logistics and supply chain companies, commercial motor vehicle drivers, ride-share companies, multifamily and residential development and management companies, and retailers) in connection with complex civil/personal injury claims throughout the State of Georgia from the pre-trial stages through trial and/or arbitration. Throughout her carrier, Melody has been heavily involved in many defense associations and organizations focused on the representation of insurers and their insureds. Through her hard work and dedication, Melody received the Defense Research Institute (DRI) Tom Segalla Excellence in Education Award in 2022. Additionally, Melody has been recognized as a Georgia Super Lawyer Rising Star in 2022, 2023, and 2024. Since April 2024, Melody has taken her civil defense trial and litigation skills to focus exclusively on the representation of insurers and insureds in connection with Georgia workers compensation claims at Cuzdey, Stine, and Sansalone, LLC.
