Elizabeth Grofic Smith

Profile Elizabeth joined the Litigation Practice in 2021 after completing a four-year clerkship with the Honorable Henry W. Van Eck in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. Prior to her clerkship, Libby worked as Associate Counsel for the Pennsylvania Treasury Department. Libby graduated from Villanova University School of Law in 2015 with a joint LL. M. in Commercial Law from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. While at the University of Edinburgh, Libby was a member of the Universitys International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court team. She is also a 2012 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a BS in Global Management.
