Amy E. Parette

Ms. Parette represents clients in state and federal courts throughout Texas in areas including commercial and business litigation, insurance defense, financial services litigation, and consumer finance-related litigation. Her clients include insurance companies, financial institutions, and mortgage lending and servicing providers. Ms. Parette also has trial experience in all stages from inception to conclusion and works with clients throughout the process. Prior to joining Baker Donelson, Ms. Parette managed premises liability and medical malpractice matters as outside counsel for a multinational retailer. As outside counsel, she assessed each case for liability exposure, determined the most effective resolution strategy on a case-by-case basis, and routinely appeared in state and federal courts in Texas on behalf of her clients. When amicable resolution options were unavailable, Ms. Parette focused on successfully obtaining favorable judgments for her clients through either summary judgment or trial.
