cum laude among the top of her class with honors and was given Dean’s Lists awards each year for her academic achievements. During her time in law school, she was a member of the law school’s Trial Team, which is a highly selective national championship trial advocacy honors organization. She also served as Vice-President of the St. Thomas Criminal Law Society, where she organized informative events regarding wrongful convictions, exonerations, and the death penalty. In addition to her Juris Doctor degree, Ms. Diaz also holds a certification in Criminal Litigation and has worked at the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office as a certified legal intern within the Juvenile Delinquency Division.
