Harry A. Shevin, Esq. Harry A. Shevin, a Florida native, is a trial attorney who represents individuals and their families who have been injured by the negligence of others. He always knew he wanted to be an attorney. Growing up he had a lot of exposure to Floridas legal system - his father was Judge Robert L. Shevin, only one of two men in the latter half of the twentieth century to serve in all three branches of Florida State Government. Mr. Shevins practice focuses on personal injury, medical malpractice and wrongful death litigation. Mr. Shevin has earned Florida Bar Board Certification, the highest level of recognition by The Florida Bar for the competency and experience of a civil trial lawyer. He is profiled in The Best Lawyers in America for Personal Injury Litigation. He has also been recognized by Super Lawyer Magazine as a Florida Super Lawyer and is listed in Florida Trend magazines Legal Elite. He has won numerous multimillion dollar verdicts for his clients against individuals, businesses and corporations including Ranger Construction Company, State Farm, Department of Children and Family Services, and Owens Corning. Mr. Shevin earned both his Bachelors degree and his Law Degree at the University of Florida. While at the University of Florida he served as President and Debate Team Captain of the Speech and Debate Team. He began his legal career as an Assistant State Attorney in Miami-Dade County, where he prosecuted numerous first-degree felonies punishable by life, vehicular homicide and DUI. He has lectured to lawyers and law students in the areas of trial advocacy, including personal injury, wrongful death, nursing home abuse and medical malpractice. He is a member of the Palm Beach County Bar Association, The Florida Bar Association, the Palm Beach County Justice Association (Past President), the Florida Justice Association and the Million Dollar Advocates Forum.
