Sara J. Thompson

Sara Thompson Biography Sara J. Thompson is an associate in the Tampa office of Wicker Smith, where she focuses her practice on automobile negligence and premises liability. Sara is a graduate of the University of South Florida, where she double majored in Psychology and Criminology. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law in 2020. While at Stetson, she was active in the Entertainment and Sports Law Society, the Florida Association for Women Lawyers, and the Florida Bar Young Lawyers – Student Division. She also served as a Judicial Intern for The Honorable Judge Richard Nielsen in the Florida Thirteenth Judicial Circuit, and as a legal volunteer at the Bay Area Legal Services Family Forms Clinic. Prior to joining Wicker Smith, Sara worked at Shelton McKean Trial Attorneys in St. Petersburg, focusing on automobile negligence defense. Sara is an avid fitness enthusiast and spinning instructor.
