Terri R. Pickens

Terri practices in the area of mediation, real estate litigation, construction litigation, and general commercial litigation. Her particular areas of expertise include easement and boundary line disputes, construction contracts, mechanics liens, and subdivision and condominium litigation. She regularly helps clients with business formation relating to real estate and the construction industry. She handles all levels of conflict resolution and has experience in administrative, judicial, and transactional settings. Terri is a regular speaker on the topics of Idaho easement law, boundary and surveying law, and title insurance matters. She has authored or co-authored several publications on easements, boundaries, and title insurance. Terri is a member of the Real Property Section of Idaho State Bar, the Idaho Women Lawyers, and she is an approved real estate instructor for the Idaho Real Estate Commission, Lorman Education Services, Idaho Land Title Association and National Business Institute. In addition to her real estate practice, Terri also volunteers time to represent Court-Appointed Guardians Ad Litem in child protective services cases for CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates). She is a strong advocate for children and their Guardians Ad Litem. In 2009, Terri received the Denise ODonnell Day Pro Bono Award from the Idaho State Bar for her representation of Family Advocates. In 2010, Terri was selected as one of Boises Accomplished Under 40 recipients through the Idaho Business Review. Terri was selected to participate in Leadership Boise for the 2011 through 2013 class, sponsored by the Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce. In 2013, Terri was honored with the Tribute to Women in Industry (TWIN) Award from the Boise Women and Childrens Alliance.
