Haidermota Yusuf Esmail

Yusuf Haidermota is a Shareholder at Schwartz, where he is a member of the Firms Litigation Group focusing his practice on Commercial, Real Estate, and Fair Debt Litigation. Yusuf is an experienced litigator and his practice extends statewide in both state and federal courts, including the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida. Yusuf has successfully prosecuted and defended lawsuits involving creditors rights, breach of contract, real estate issues, commercial landlord tenant matters, commercial collections and other business issues. Yusuf also handles the firms Fair Debt Litigation. He is a frequent speaker on the Florida Consumer Collection Protection Act, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and Telephone Consumer Protection Act. Yusuf joined the firm in 2011. Prior to joining the firm, Yusuf was an Assistant State Attorney for the 10th Judicial Circuit, advocating on behalf of the people of the State of Florida. While a prosecutor, Mr. Haidermota tried over 25 jury trials and numerous non-jury trials. Yusuf was raised in Tampa, Florida. After graduating from H. B. Plant High School, he attended the University of Florida, where he received his Bachelor of Arts. In 2008, Yusuf received his Juris Doctor degree from Florida State University College of Law. While in law school, Yusuf was the President of the FSU Real Estate Law Society and a member of the William H. Stafford American Inn of Court. Yusufs current memberships include the Tampa Bay American Inn of Court, the Hillsborough County Diversity Committee, Trial Lawyers Section of the Florida Bar, Real Property, Probate and Trust Law section of the Hillsborough County Bar Association, and the American Legal and Financial Network. Outside of the office, Yusuf enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys, being outdoors and watching his boys play little league baseball and soccer.
