Jared I. Shavitz

About Jared Jared Shavitz has spent his legal career advocating for the injured and disabled. Jared graduated with distinction from The Pennsylvania State University in 2010 and received his law degree from Temple University Beasley School of Law in 2013. Since that time, he has focused his practice around defending injured workers throughout the state, arguing cases all the way up through the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania. Jared was named a Super Lawyers Rising Star in Workers Compensation in 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023. He was also named one of Main Line Todays Top Workers Compensation Lawyers in 2016, 2018, 2019, and 2020. Prior to joining KKO, Jared was at a regional firm representing claimants in workers compensation cases and disability claims. Jared is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. While in law school, he interned for Justice Seamus McCaffery on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. Jared is born and raised in Pennsylvania, and loves rooting for the Philadelphia sports teams and the Penn State Nittany Lions. He enjoys spending time with his wife and son, traveling, and cooking.
