Christopher Hall

Christopher Hall is a first chair trial lawyer who has obtained full defense verdicts in multiple jury trials in jurisdictions across the country. Chris is also an experienced appellate advocate and has argued in multiple Circuit Courts, resulting in several published opinions. Chriss practice focuses on consumer class action defense, commercial disputes, trade secret claims, and unfair competition claims. Chris has led defense efforts in multiple nationwide class actions, including claims under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and the Sherman Act. Chris has obtained wins on dispositive motions for clients more than a dozen times in both motions to dismiss and summary judgment stages. Chris has spearheaded and assisted with strategic defense efforts that successfully eliminated repeated claims by members of the consumer rights plaintiffs bar. He has also obtained favorable outcomes for clients in claims involving breach of contract, trade secret misappropriation, unfair competition, and Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA). Chris has repeatedly helped clients avoid class certification, efficiently manage discovery, and negotiate favorable resolution of claims. Chriss pro bono work includes representing tenants in eviction defense cases, participating in Jones Days immigration work in Laredo, Texas, and representing asylum seekers elsewhere as well.
