Hon. J. Jeffrey Payton

J. Jeffrey Payton is an Oklahoma district court judge serving Adair County in Judicial District 15. He began his judicial career as a special judge in 2001 and was elected as a district judge in 2006, with subsequent re-elections in 2010 and 2014. Payton holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Oklahoma and a Juris Doctor from the University of Tulsa School of Law (1991). Prior to his judicial appointments, he practiced privately in Oklahoma.
