<p><b>Thomas Feinman</b> is a justice of the <a href="/Nassau_County_Supreme_Court,_New_York" class="mw-redirect" title="Nassau County Supreme Court, New York">Nassau County Supreme Court</a> in the <a href="/New_York_Supreme_Court_10th_Judicial_District" title="New York Supreme Court 10th Judicial District">10th Judicial District</a> of <a href="/New_York" title="New York">New York</a>. He was elected to this position in <a href="/C2004" class="mw-redirect" title="C2004">2004</a>.<sup id="cite_ref-bio_1-0" class="reference"><a href="#cite_note-bio-1">[1]</a></sup> Feinman was re-elected on <a href="/New_York_local_judicial_elections,_2017" class="mw-redirect" title="New York local judicial elections, 2017">November 7, 2017</a>.

<h2><span class="mw-headline" id="Biography">Biography</span></h2>
<p>Feinman received his <a href="/J.D." class="mw-redirect" title="J.D.">J.D.</a> degree from the Hofstra University School of Law. Feinman began his career in 1977 working in the District Attorney's Office. He practiced with Sale, Groothuis, &amp; Feinman Esqs. from 1979 to 1980 and with Annibale &amp; Feinman Esqs. from 1980 until his judicial election in 1998. He was elected to the <a href="/Nassau_County,_New_York_(Judicial)" title="Nassau County, New York (Judicial)">Nassau County</a> <a href="/New_York_District_Courts" title="New York District Courts">District Court</a> in 1998 and to the supreme court in 2004.<sup id="cite_ref-bio_1-1" class="reference"><a href="#cite_note-bio-1">[1]</a></sup>

<p>The <b>324 justices</b> of the <a href="/New_York_Supreme_Court" class="mw-redirect" title="New York Supreme Court">New York Supreme Court</a> are elected to 14-year terms in <a href="/Partisan_elections" class="mw-redirect" title="Partisan elections">partisan elections</a>. To appear on the ballot, candidates must be chosen at partisan nominating conventions.
