Hon. Jennifer L. Branch

Jennifer Branch is a judge of the Hamilton County Court of Common Pleas General Division in Ohio, having assumed office on February 9, 2021. A graduate of New York University (B.A., 1984) and Case Western Reserve University School of Law (J.D., 1987), Branch has built a distinguished legal career focused on employment discrimination, civil rights, police misconduct, and women’s reproductive rights. She is a partner at Gerhardstein & Branch Co., LPA in Cincinnati, where she continues to practice these areas, and previously served as an attorney with the Legal Aid Society of Cincinnati, representing families affected by hazardous living conditions. Branch successfully ran for the Hamilton County Court of Common Pleas Juvenile Division in 2014 and was elected to her current position in 2020, defeating incumbent Judge Elizabeth Callan.
