Hon. Henry Newkirk

Judge Henry M. Newkirk is a seasoned legal professional with a distinguished career spanning over four decades within the Georgia judicial system. He earned his Juris Doctor from Woodrow Wilson College of Law in 1982 and a Bachelor of Science from Florida State University in 1976, laying the foundation for his legal expertise. His professional journey began as a DeKalb County Assistant Solicitor from 1984 to 1986, followed by a role as a Fulton County Assistant District Attorney from 1986 to 1998. This marked the beginning of his transition into the judiciary, during which he served as a Judge in the State Court of Fulton County from 1998 to 2008 and then in the Superior Court of Fulton County from 2008 to 2023. Currently, he holds the esteemed position of Senior Judge in the Superior Court of Fulton County. Over his career, Judge Newkirk has distinguished himself through his handling of complex family law cases, including matters related to custody and divorce, showcasing his deep understanding and skill in these areas.
