</p><p><b>Dennis J. Adkins</b> is a judge on the <a href="/Montgomery_County_Court_of_Common_Pleas,_Ohio" title="Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas, Ohio">Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas</a> in Dayton, <a href="/Ohio" title="Ohio">Ohio</a>. He was appointed to the court by Governor <a href="/John_Kasich" title="John Kasich">John Kasich</a> and assumed office on June 6, 2011. Adkins was elected to the court in November 2012 to serve out the remainder of an unexpired term which ends on <a href="/C2015#June" class="mw-redirect" title="C2015">June 30, 2015</a>.<sup id="cite_ref-pr_1-0" class="reference"><a href="#cite_note-pr-1">[1]</a></sup><sup id="cite_ref-2" class="reference"><a href="#cite_note-2">[2]</a></sup> Adkins ran for re-election to the <a href="/Montgomery_County_Court_of_Common_Pleas,_Ohio" title="Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas, Ohio">Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas</a> in 2014, however, winning a new term expiring on June 30, 2021.<sup id="cite_ref-3" class="reference"><a href="#cite_note-3">[3]</a></sup>.
