Hon. Anthony J. Campagna

Anthony Campagna is a judge of the Superior Court of San Diego County, California, serving since 2020 with a term ending January 8, 2029. He earned his J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law and has spent his legal career in the San Diego County District Attorney’s Office, where he served as Trial Prosecutor, Assistant Division Chief, and Division Chief of the South Bay Branch from 1999 to 2020. In December 2020, Governor Gavin Newsom appointed him to the Superior Court, and he was re-elected in 2022. Campagna’s practice has focused on criminal prosecution and judicial responsibilities.
