Hon. Mickie L. Vega

Mickie L. Vega serves as a judge on the Lincoln County Magistrate Court in New Mexico. Appointed by Governor Susana Martinez in April 2014, she has presided over cases within the county’s magistrate jurisdiction. Prior to her judgeship, Vega worked as a municipal court clerk for the Town of Carrizozo and held positions with the Lincoln County Sheriff's Department and the New Mexico Twelfth Judicial District Court. She earned her undergraduate degree from Eastern New Mexico University. In 2014, she successfully won both the Republican primary and the general election for the magistrate court seat.
