Hon. Richard A. Simons

Richard A. Simons is a distinguished legal professional who serves as the first justice of the Berkshire Probate and Family Court in Berkshire County, Massachusetts. He was nominated to the court by former Governor Deval Patrick in January 2008 and confirmed by the Governor's Council in February 2008, before being sworn into office on May 16, 2008. Prior to his judicial appointment, Simons was a partner at the Pittsfield-based law firm Simons, Smith & Gerrard.
