Hon. Denise L. Meagher

Denise L. Meagher has served as the first justice of the Worcester Probate and Family Court in Worcester County, Massachusetts since her appointment by former Governor Mitt Romney in April 2005. A University of Massachusetts alumna (B.A., 1984) and Suffolk University Law School graduate (J.D., 1987), Meagher has built a distinguished legal career that includes solo practice, a partnership at Weinstein, Bernstein & Burwick, and a role as assistant city solicitor for the City of Worcester. She has been on the Worcester Probate and Family Court since 2005, where she handles probate and family law matters and may serve until the mandatory retirement age of 70.
