Hon. Joan Armstrong

Joan Armstrong is a probate and family court associate justice for the Suffolk Probate and Family Court in Suffolk County, Massachusetts. She was nominated to the court by former Governor Deval Patrick on July 23, 2008, and may serve until she reaches the mandatory retirement age of 70. Prior to her judicial appointment, Armstrong was a partner at Murtha Cullina LLP, where she served as chair of the Probate and Family Law Department for sixteen years. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Drew University and a J.D. from Suffolk University Law School.
