David J. Dacyczyn has served as an associate justice of the Franklin Probate and Family Court in Franklin County, Massachusetts since 2014, following a nomination by former Governor Deval Patrick. Prior to his judicial appointment, he held positions as judicial case manager and assistant judicial case manager in the probate and family courts of Hampshire and Franklin counties, respectively. From 1992 to 2000, he practiced law privately in Greenfield, Massachusetts. Dacyczyn earned a Bachelor of Arts from Westfield State College in 1982, a Master’s in Political Science and Administration from Sam Houston University in 1985, and a Juris Doctor from the New England School of Law in 1992. His legal career has focused on probate and family law matters within the Massachusetts court system.
