Hon. Megan H. Christopher

Megan H. Christopher is a probate and family court associate justice serving the Suffolk Probate and Family Court in Suffolk County, Massachusetts. Nominated by former Governor Deval Patrick on February 22, 2012, she was confirmed by the Governor's Council in April 2012 and may serve until the mandatory retirement age of 70. Christopher earned her Bachelor of Arts from Wellesley College in 1977 and her Juris Doctor from Northeastern School of Law in 1989. She spent twenty-two years as an attorney at MetroWest Legal Services, where she also served as a supervising attorney before her judicial appointment. In addition to her judicial duties, she has held leadership roles as President of the MetroWest Bar Association and as a member of the Probate and Family Court Bench Committee on Rules.
