About
Angela M. Ordonez is a distinguished judge serving as the Chief Justice of the Massachusetts Probate and Family Courts since July 16, 2013. She has been the first justice of the Norfolk Probate and Family Court in Norfolk County since her appointment to the bench in 2000 by Governor Paul Cellucci. Ordonez earned her bachelor's degree in 1986 and her J.D. in 1989 from Northeastern University. Her career includes roles as assistant register of probate for Suffolk County, law clerk and attorney at Greater Boston Legal Services, and first justice of the Norfolk County Probate and Family Court. She has received several honors, including the Distinguished Jurist award from the Massachusetts Association of Women Lawyers in 2010 and the La Primeras Award from the Massachusetts Association of Hispanic Attorneys in 2001.
