Hon. J. R. Woolley

Judge J.R. Woolley serves as the Justice of the Peace for Precinct 2 in Waller County. He was elected to this position in January 2019. Prior to his judicial career, he spent 23 years as a peace officer and retired in 2018. He is also a certified Advanced EMT with extensive experience in EMS and volunteer fire services. His court was designated as a Center of Excellence by the Texas Judicial Commission in June 2023. He serves as the Legislative Chair for the Justices of the Peace and Constables Association of Texas.
