Hon. Leary Ronda Colvin

Judge Ronda S. Colvin, formerly Colvin-Leary, is the first African American to be elected to the Gwinnett County State Court bench. She was raised in rural Alabama and comes from a family with a history of military service and civil rights activism. Before her election, she served as an attorney for over 17 years, including as Solicitor for the City of Winder and managing her own law practice in Lawrenceville.
