Hon. David Garza

Judge David L. Garza serves as the Presiding Municipal Court Judge for the City of Bee Cave, Texas. He was first appointed to this position in 2010. Prior to his current role, Judge Garza served as a City of Austin Municipal Court Judge from 1987 to 1992 and again from 2003 to 2009. He has also served as an Administrative Law Judge for the State Office of Administrative Hearings and as an Assistant District Attorney for Travis County. Additionally, he was an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Texas, leading the Foreign Prosecution Unit under Attorney General John Cornyn.

Commissioner David A. Garza serves Cameron County as Commissioner for Precinct 3. He was first elected in 2000 and has been a strong advocate for infrastructure development and sustainability. He is a 1975 graduate of UT Austin with a B.S. in Pharmacy and owns The Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy.
