Hon. Una Gandbhir

Una Sonia Gandbhir is a judge of the Alaska Third District Superior Court, having been appointed in 2018 by Governor Bill Walker and retained in the 2022 retention election with 55.8% of the vote. Prior to her judicial appointment, Gandbhir practiced law in Alaska for 24 years, running a private practice that focused on elder and disability law for 15 years and serving as a magistrate from 2013 to 2018. She earned her law degree from Northeastern University. Gandbhir’s career reflects a deep commitment to elder and disability law and to the administration of justice in Alaska.
