Hon. Jeffery O. Monroe

Judge Jeffery O. Monroe was appointed to the superior court bench by Governor Brian Kemp on May 30, 2019, and currently serves as a Superior Court Judge for the Macon Judicial Circuit, which includes Bibb, Crawford, and Peach counties. Prior to this appointment, he served as a judge on the State Court of Bibb County, appointed by Governor Nathan Deal in August 2017. Monroe holds a Bachelor's degree in History from the University of Georgia (1996) and a Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law (2000). He has had an illustrious legal career, practicing law at Jones Cork, LLP as a partner and at Anderson, Walker & Reichert, LLP as an associate.
