Hon. J. Alexander Johnson

J. Alexander Johnson, also known as Jordan "Alex" Johnson, is a seasoned attorney based in Georgia. He has been a partner at JohnsonFloyd LLP since 1978 and has earned an AV Preeminent rating for his legal work. Johnson’s practice spans business, real estate, timber, banking, corporate, probate, administrative, municipal, and civil law, with a particular focus on automobile accident cases and Constitutional Rights violations. He served as Solicitor of the State Court of Appling County from 1983 to 1993 and has been a Juvenile Court Judge in the Brunswick Judicial Circuit since 1993. In addition to his courtroom roles, Johnson has provided counsel to the City of Baxley, the Development Authority of Appling County, Community Bank of Georgia, and the Southeast Georgia Regional Development Authority. He is a founding partner of a civil practice firm, served as General Counsel for the DeKalb County Republican Party, and was a Republican candidate for the Georgia State Senate in 2010. Johnson is also a registered mediator with the Georgia Commission on Dispute Resolution. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business and a Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia, a Bachelor of Arts in Politics from Oglethorpe University, and a Juris Doctor from Georgia State Law School.
