Hon. Jerome C. Cavanagh

Jerome Cavanagh is a judge of the Michigan 3rd Circuit Court, serving as a nonpartisan incumbent since his election in 2006. He has a distinguished legal career that began as a legal intern and court officer at the Michigan Court of Appeals, followed by service in the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office. Cavanagh then served as an assistant attorney general in the transportation division for seven years before practicing privately. His experience spans appellate work, criminal prosecution, transportation law, and general private practice. He has been re-elected to the circuit court in 2012 and 2018 and is running for re-election in 2024.
